Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp has been an Canadian actress for several years. She is well-known for the roles she played on television and films. Both Canadian and American Television are avid fans of Emily VanCamp. When Emily was twelve, she started to get attracted to acting when she visited her elder sister Katie at the location of one of her movies. When she realized her love for acting she started taking acting classes and went for auditions. She was initially cast in a couple of commercials before getting a part on the Canadian television show for children Are You Scared of Darkness? It was the only scene in which she did not talk. In the WB television show Glory Days, she received her first major break at the age of 15. Emily's performance caught the eye of Dawson's Creek's Greg Berlanti, who then made her a part of his television show Everwood. Emily has also been a professional dancer, a photographer and was named as one of the top 20 teens' actors. Maxim's Hot 100 for 2014 listed her as #51.
