Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd's journey in combat sports began at 14 years old. She trained in boxing kickboxing BJJ and wrestling before completing her first amateur appearance at 18 at WCFC in a fight against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd became more confident after her win, and she won three fights at Ultimate Reno Combat. Her opponents were all defeated by the start of the round. She then went back to WCFC where she defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen was able to defeat Silvia Babaeghian as well as Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9. Cynthia beat Aspen with a majority vote. This put a stain on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd won her next fight with Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 mark. Aspen became a professional in the year 2015. She joined Invicta FC and made her debut. Invicta Fc 11 she dominated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the one round with a TKO. Invicta Fighter Championships 16. She took the following match against Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission by armbar. Aspen used her superior grappling skills to defeat McGill and ended her fight via third round TKO(elbows as well as punches). The next fight was against Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 in the weight class of catchweight(138.1lb) as Ladd was unable to reach the weight limit. Aspen defeated Hoy and finished her in the second round via TKO. As for her final fight for the promotion, she defeated Sijara Eubanks in a an unanimous decision in Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to debut. She took on Linalansberg in UFC Fight Night 118. She outclassed Lina by using her ground and pound tactics, resulting in a TKO second round victory. She maintained her dominance and picked up an even bigger victory against Tonya Avinger at UFC 229 with her next fight. Ladd was victorious at the start of round one, and was awarded the Performance of the Night Bonus. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes, in a UFC Fight Night dos anjos-lee match with Eubanks' Sijara was the first fight she's had in a major capacity. The two fights were an intense fight which Ladd beat by a unanimous decision. Both fighters were awarded an award called the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie only needed 16 seconds to finish Ladd and her streak. Yana Knitskaya lost in the third at UFC 7 at ESPN. In her recent fight for the UFC she was a part of Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 as a replacement fight. It was a loss by unanimous decision.
