The acting career of Tulloch began when her being credited under the moniker Bitsie. The nickname remained in use until the year 2017, which is when Tulloch chose to go by Elizabeth. Like I've always been and will continue to do, I'm Bitsie when I speak to anyone. When I was in my 20s I was just beginning to act and it worked. As I entered my mid-30s I was still feeling that I needed to re-visit Elizabeth. I was filming which it had never occurred to me. Producer said "Hey we have seen Elizabeth when we were filling out your legal paperwork." Do you want billing? That's why I thought about it. I then contacted my boss, and both of them said it was a good idea. It's a bit older. Bitsie has a really cute name. Its cutesy. This is the whole thing that was said. Elizabeth wasn't the name I chose to identify myself. For future billing. Tulloch's ancestry is Scottish and has Spanish influences. Tulloch claims that she was born in Spain, though it isn't her native language. The paternal grandparents of her grandmother are located in Renfrewshire and her family of grandparents came from the region around Kirkwall and Scotland. In an interview with BBC News she reported that we believe that the first Tulloch arrived in the US about 1880. The Kerrs were introduced in the late 1900s. After her return to her home in the U.S. in 1880, Tulloch was a student at Bedford's secondary and senior schools. Tulloch graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University with a double major in English as well as American Literature and Visual and Environmental Studies.
